The sear station feature cooked thick steaks perfectly in minutes -- it put beautiful sear marks on the meat and a nice crust on both sides, and the middle was still medium rare and juicy as could be. All of the controls have a great feel to them, and igniting this grill couldn't be easier (my last grill, not a Weber unfortunately, had to be coaxed with multiple tries to start). The mark of a great grill is how hot it gets, and this one had its stainless steel flavorizor bars glowing cherry red in minutes -- I've never seen a grill do that before! It gets wickedly hot, and fast, too! The stainless steel grates are not the cheap, flimsy type used by other grill manufacturers -- they're thick, heavy and solid stainless steel. The only knock I have is the two hours it takes to put this thing together, and it really requires two people to assemble it properly, but it's worth it. I... Read more
